Sound Healing

Connect to your sound healing

A sound bath is a full-body meditative experience where people lie down and listen to resonant sounds.

In my sessions I use two types of bowls, a gong and various other healing instruments. These soothing sounds create an echoing sound that ‘bathes’ you.

Just as a typical bath involves a person immersing themselves in water, a sound bath immerses a person in sound, so you feel enveloped in it.

Some people refer to sound bathing as a healing practice. However, some people simply use it as a way to relax.

There are so many benefits to sound healing but some of the main benefits are:

People feel a reduction in negative mood helping you to feel positive and uplifted.

People feel a sense of calmness as their heart rate decreases and blood pressure normalises which suggests stress and anxiety is lowering.

Overall general improvements in well-being, including reductions in distress, anxiety, depression and physical pain.

People feel lower levels of tension, fatigue, depression, and anger after a sound meditation.

All you need to do is sit back, get comfy with a pillow and blanket and allow the waves of sound soothe your soul.

What to expect from our sound bath experiences?

So firstly you will be greeted by Danielle who is experienced, welcoming and accommodating.

You will lay on a yoga mat with a pillow and blanket. This helps you to feel nice and connected to the ground which gives you a real sense of connection and feeling rooted.

You will then experience the beauty of the bowls whether this be for 60 or 90 minutes.

Everyones experience is different at a sound bath. Some people will feel there body sinking into the ground, their bodies feeling deeply relaxed and heavy. You may see different colours or your mind may go back to a happy place. You may feel different sensations physically as your body releases. It’s not uncommon to feel emotions arising and some people feel tearful. Or you may simply drift off into a sleep state

Your body releases endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and norepinephrine. These feel-good chemicals make us happy and help move us out of the fight or flight stress response so ultimately you will feel calm, peaceful, rested but also rejuvenated.

Your vibration is raised so you then feel positive and attract more abundance into your life.

Giving yourself time to reset and relax is the ultimate act of self care x
